Building the brand

I had a unique opportunity to join a core team that launched a new underground lounge in the Over-the-Rhine. In my role as the Marketing and PR manager, I worked on the following:

  • Collaborating with Edelmade, who designed the branding, look, tone and feel of the space and associated content

  • Created the social media calendar and managed the creation of content

  • Menu writing, testing, and printing with Otto Printing

  • Website build and management

  • Business listing and review management

  • Equipment and decor selection

oPEN and open again

After six months of work, we officially opened in February 2020 with lines down the block. Our reservations were booked out for weeks and guests were impressed by the grandeur of the underground space. Unfortunately, we needed to close again due to COVID-19. We assessed the situation and worked again to build momentum and reopen in July 2020.

With extra safety measures in place, we were able to open and host musical performances again, keeping a special space in use.
